St Senan’s are through to the AIB Munster Intermediate Club Football Championship final following a 2-11 to 2-8 win over Clare champions Kilmihil.
They now go on to face An Ghaeltacht who saw off Mallow by 11 points on a 1-19 to 1-8 score line, the Kerry side claimed the county Intermediate crown last month with a 1-12 to 0-14 Templenoe.
The final is scheduled for the weekend of the November 26.
There was no joy for Adare yesterday as they lost out in the Munster Club Senior Football Championship semi-final. Nemo Rangers ran out comfortable winners over the Limerick county champions, the game finished 0-4 to 2-17.

Locally St Patrick’s ended a long wait as they were crowned Junior A hurling champions, they saw off Kilmallock 1-10 to 0-8 in the second replay of their final clash.
The Junior B Hurling Championship Final will need a replay as Bruff and Mungret/St Pauls played out a 13 points a piece draw.
While Newcastle West ran out one-point-winners over Monaleen on a 3-09 to 2-11 score line in their group 1 Premier U21 Football Championship contest.
