Both Garryowen and UL Bohs came out the right end of their semi finals on Saturday.
Garryowen played host to Cork Constitution in what was their third clash in as many weeks on Saturday and came out on top on a scoreline of 23-14 to reach the Munster Senior Cup final for the first time in four years and in the process end the Cork side’s bid for 6 cup titles in a row.
Tomas Quinlan got his side up and running with a penalty after fifteen minutes but the home side’s captain Neil Cronin levelled the scores six minutes later.
Winger James McInerny then put Garryowen in front with a try a few minutes later which Cronin converted to leave the side’s 13-6 at half time after both kickers swapped penalties.
Again both place kickers were on hand to bring the score up to 16-9 but Conan Doyle’s captain was on hand to run in a neat try to make sure of the final spot in January.

UL Bohemians came out the right side of the other semi final played on Saturday when they defeated Bruff 22-8 at Kilballyowen Park.
The side’s were three all after Mike Mullaly for the away side and Dave O’Grady for the host’s swapped penalties before tries from Mark Bromell and James Ryan and a Mullaly conversion put the University of Limerick side 15-3 ahead at the break.
Cian Ryan got on the scoresheet for the home side to narrow the gap to just a converted try but the division 1B side showed their class and went over for a try in the form of Shane Scannell to secure the win in County Limerick.
