Graham Rowantree has ‘every confidence’ in Munster youth ahead of Harlequins

Munster will be keen on replicating their early season domestic form as they begin their European campaign by welcoming the Harlequins to Thomond Park on Sunday evening.

Munster have won their opening seven games of the Guinness Pro 14 season despite being without a number of players through injury and the disruption of the Autumn Nations Cup.

As a result, coach Graham Rowntree is excited to see how the new faces fare in Europe and is confident in their ability to thrive on the bigger stage.

“We’ll see how they get on but we certainly wouldn’t select them if we didn’t think they were good enough. But this is their chance and they have to get on with it but we have every confidence in them. Can’t wait to see them.”
