Mallow – Scoil Na mBraithre` Rathluirc V CBS Midleton
Boherlahan – De La Salle College Waterford V Árdscoil Rís North Circular Limerick

Ardscoil Rís will be looking to take control of the group but know they face tough encounter with a De La Salle side who will be doing their live best to stay alive in the competition. A second defeat for the Waterford side would most likely mean their elimination while a win for the North Circular Road side will copper fasten their 1/4 final berth. Midleton should have enough to get past Charleville in the other game today which should set up a winner takes all group game with Ardscoil in the final round to decide who tops the table.

Harty Cup Group B Round 2

Wednesday October 25th @ 1:30pm
Kilmallock – St. Flannans College Ennis V Christian Brothers College, Cork
Nenagh – Our Ladys Secondary School Templemore V Castletroy College

Castletroy College know they are facing down the barrel of elimination as they take on the current holders Templemore in Nenagh. An opening round defeat at the hands of St Flannans means that the Limerick side have little room for error if they are to extend their involvement beyond the group stages.

Wednesday October 25th @ 1:30pm
Kilfinane – Coláiste Cholmáin Fermoy V Coláiste Iosaef, Kilmallock
Glenroe – John The Baptist Community School V Blackwater Community School Lismore

John the Baptist simply had too much for Kilmallock in the Limerick derby in round one and didn’t look in any way out of their depth having made the step up from the ‘B’ competition. That opening win has set them up nicely for their encounter with Lismore knowing that a win will extend their involvement beyond the group stage. For their part Kilmallock are in a rather sticky situation as they face Fermoy in Kilfinane.

Predictions: Fermoy to beat Kilmallock and JTBCS to beat Lismore.

Doon will make the short trip into Limerick City to take on Thurles at St Patrick’s GAA Club looking for a win to kickstart their campaign following their opening round defeat to Nenagh. 2015 champions Thurles will prove a tough opposition in what is a do or die encounter with both teams currently pointless in the group following opening round defeats.
