Tommy Barrett’s side controlled the contest to move into the last eight of the competition.
Treaty United moved into the last eight of the Extra.ie FAI Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over Maynooth University on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Enda Curran, Willie Armshaw and Lee Devitt were enough to see off the Leinster side with Treaty into the quarter-final draw.
Treaty had to wait until after the half hour to break their duck, Curran cooly finishing to the net after some indecisiveness in the Mayonooth defence.
The Limerick side grabbed their second on 71 minutes, Dean George driving into the box, before Colin Conroy found Armshaw who made no mistake to double their advantage.
Lee Devitt rounded out the scoring ten minutes later, winning possession in his own half, he eventually got on the end of the move, firing into the roof of the net after some neat close control.
With a quarter-final to come, Treaty will quickly shift their focus to the League campaign as they look to maintain their play-off spot when they take on Cobh Ramblers this weekend.
