Highlights | Four-goal Ardscoil Rís produce their best to book a Harty Cup Final berth

The North Circular road school moved into their sixth ever final with an awesome display.

Ardscoil Rís and St Joseph’s Tulla will contest the 2022 Dr Harty Cup Final after both schools made it through their respective semi-finals over the weekend.

Kilmallock’s Shane O’Brien was Ardscoil Rís’ top scorer in their clash with Thurles CBS, notching 2-6 that included one of the scores of the year.

The Limerick school were in devastating form for the outset and were 3-5 to 0-0 ahead at the first waterbreak.

Niall O’Farrell had the games opening goal inside five minutes with David Kennedy and O’Brien also finding the net prior to the water.

O’Brien’s second put the game beyond any doubt as he moved the Limerick school, eighteen clear at the break.

To their credit, Thurles CBS battled in the second half but it was in vain as ASR secured the 4-18 to 1-12 win.
