Evan Loftus’ side led from start to finish against the hosts who laid siege on the Limerick goal late on but to no avail. Limerick had scorers from five different players with just one of their points coming from a placed ball.
Limerick now welcome Clare next Tuesday after the Banner had seven points to spare over Tipperary yesterday.
