In total, twelve Treaty men found the target in a dominant performance that will make them heavy favourites heading into the July 23rd final
Limerick booked their place in a fourth successive All-Ireland final with a comfortable 2-24 to 1-18 win over Galway in Croke Park.
John Kiely’s men, who made a number of positional switches, took their time to get into the game but when they did they controlled the contest, outscoring the Tribesmen, 1-18 to 0-6 in the final forty minutes.
Aaron Gillane helped himself to 2-6, with the goals both coming at crucial interventions as Galway threatened to over run Limerick in the first half.
But six of the last seven scores in the first half came from the Shannonsiders and they didn’t relent from here, quickly taking the lead after the restart.
In total, twelve Treaty men found the target in a dominant performance that will make them heavy favourites heading into the July 23rd final where they will meet either Clare or Kilkenny.
