Gavin Coombes brought his Munster haul to 42 tries in 88 appearances with two trademark scores, while Jack O’Sullivan, Ahern, Sean O’Brien and Shay McCarthy all crossed for the visitors.
Munster picked up a domineering 42-7 victory over Scarlets on Friday, as Graham Rowntree’s men finished strongly to secure a bonus-point win in Round 10 of the BKT United Rugby Championship.
Mike Haley and RG Snyman were both in the starting XV for the first time this season, the pair returning from injury to help Munster pick up their first away win in the competition since winning the final in Cape Town last May.
Snyman joined Tom Ahern, both standing at a staggering 6’9”, to form the biggest lock partnership to compete in the league’s history, with the pair making big contributions to this win.

Munster led 14-0 at the break thanks to two Coombes tries, with, Joey Carbery flawless off the tee, kicking all six of his conversion attempts.
Scarlets made the tie interesting after the break, as Joe Roberts pulled back a fine try after being sent through by his centre partner Eddie James.
However, Munster got back in the driving seat when O’Sullivan got over for the third try after a tapped penalty, and the bonus point was secured by an Ahern try after 66 minutes.
O’Brien showed great strength to get in for his first Munster try seven minutes from the end, and there was time for one more try for the visitors, as a break put Shay McCarthy through to score.
