HIGHLIGHTS | Na Piarsaigh put Patrickswell to the sword in SHC

The 2020 champions sent out a statement of intent with a comprehensive win over Patrickswell.

Na Piarsaigh booked their place in the knockout rounds of the Limerick SHC with a 1-23 to 0-12 win over Patrickswell on Saturday.

The Caherdavin outfit were imperious, leading from start to finish in sealing their place in the quarter finals at the least.

Peter Casey set the tone with a sixth minute goal, finishing well past Jason Gillane.

The gap was six with ten to play in the half but Na Piarsaigh rattled off a string of scores to leave it insurmountable, 1-13 to 0-6 at the interval.

Indeed, they would grab four of the first five points of the second half to put the game to bed.
