Ireland kept their hopes of a Six Nations Championship alive with a pulsating victory over England on Saturday evening.
In what was a rather strange game of rugby, Ireland had a man advantage for all but 2 minutes of the game yet were taken apart by the English scrum.
Despite victory looking fanciful with 15 minutes to go, Ireland rallied with two late tries to not only seal the win but to close the gap to just two points at the top of the table.
An Irish win over Scotland and an English win in France would see Andy Farrell’s side claim the championship. However a triple crown is also on the line were Ireland to beat Scotland.
