Treaty United have unveiled Craig Hurley as the club’s new U-17 manager. He takes the reigns following the departure of Irene Hehir on January 1st. Hurley’s appointment follows last night’s announcement that Niall Connolly will be taking control of the senior women’s team in the Women’s National League.
Hurley is excited by the appointment and cannot wait to get going on the training pitch when the time is right:
‘I’m really excited to be given the opportunity to work for Treaty UTD FC. They have come very close the last season and hopefully we can help take the team to the next step.
We are really excited to start working with the players and parents to prepare us for what’s going. to be a really good season both on and off the pitch. I’ve watched Treaty UTD closely over the last few seasons and Irene and her staff have done a great job with the players.”
Connolly was also delighted to be afforded the opportunity to manage the club having been involved in the backroom team last season under Dave Rooney.
“I look forward to embracing the exciting challenges of developing the club in the Women’s National League and creating a level of performance both on and off the pitch that represents Treaty United in the Mid West Munster region proudly.”
