Hurling Fixtures | Semi-Final stages for SHC and Premier Intermediate this weekend

There are several knockout games in the Limerick hurling championships to look forward to this weekend.

The SHC and Premier IHC’s final pairings will be decided come Sunday evening as the semi-finals of both competitions take place this weekend.

Na Piarsaigh take on South Liberties in the first of the two SHC semi-finals which takes place in Kilmallock. Na Piarsaigh are the heavy favourites to win the Daly Cup while Liberties play their first semi-final in 37 years.

Holders Kilmallock face Doon in the third consecutive semi-final between the two sides. Both teams finished the group stages with identical records with Sunday’s clash set to be an interesting affair.

In the Premier IHC, Bruff meet Newcastle West in the first semi-final on Saturday while Sunday sees Monaleen face Effin in Ballyagran.

There’s also two quarter-final fixtures in the IHC while Mungret and Ballybrown face each other in the County Senior Hurling Cup.
