Irish Author Brian Kennedy to launch new book at the Markets Field on Friday evening

Well known Irish author Brian Kennedy will be launching his new book “One Team. One Dream. Won Friday Night.” in the Markets Field Hospitality Suite from 6.30pm on Friday night.

“One Team. One Dream. Won Friday Night.” features stories from every football club that has partaken in the League of Ireland over many decades including the now defunct Monaghan United, Kilkenny City and Kildare County. Many more former clubs are present within the book. Several die hard supporters give their greatest memories of following their local team through thick and thin. There are some thrilling accounts provided.

Brian’s previous books include the popular “Just Follow the Floodlights” which was published in May 2012. Many years ago, Kennedy produced “Confessions of an Exeter City Nut,” so he is no stranger to liaising with passionate supporters and re-laying their emotions on paper. Brian has launched the book in Dundalk, Cork and at both Tallaght Stadium and Dalymount Park in the last month.

Supporters are encouraged to attend the launch ahead of the clash between Limerick FC and Shamrock Rovers in the Airtricity League Premier Division. Brian will be available for a quick chat from 6.30pm until 10pm and more importantly, the widely sought after book will be on sale for €10.
