Irish Internationals Return To Munster Camp As Joey Carbery Steps Up Training

Munsterrugby.ie this morning issued a squad report stating that Craig Casey, Andrew Conway, Chris Farrell, Shane Daly and Peter O’Mahony will be training with the Munster squad this week ahead of Saturday’s clash with Edinburgh.

Casey, Conway, Farrell and Daly got no minutes in the opening two rounds of the Six Nations and O’Mahony is still suspended following his red card versus Wales.

Returning from injury this week are Rhys Marshall, Calvin Nash and Keynan Knox to boost Munster’s options further. Winger Liam Coombes may however miss Friday’s match after suffering a head injury against Connacht Eagles last week.

Positively, Joey Carbery is increasing his training load further again this week as the Ireland star creeps closer towards a return. Still out long-term are Dan Goggin (hand) Matt Gallagher (shoulder), Neil Cronin (knee) and RG Snyman (knee).
