Injury Updates on Kearney, Cabery & Earls ahead of Scotland

Ireland defence coach Andy Farrell has given a positive update this morning in relation to the injury profiles of Keith Earls, Rob Kearney and Joey Carbery.

Earls and Kearney are suffering from knee and calf problems that have caused some concern among both fans and media ahead of Ireland’s Pool A opener against Scotland in Yokohama on Sunday.

In a press conference this morning, Farrell has confirmed that both players were running in training today and that they will be available for selection pending Friday’s training session and how well both players get on.

Meanwhile, Munster out-half Joey Cabery has trained twice this week while Robbie Henshaw has been ruled out of Sunday’s game.
