“It makes a big difference when there is a good positive atmosphere and when there’s a good crowd.” – Tommy Barret ahead of St Pats clash

Limerick entertain St Patrick’s Athlethic tonight at the Markets Field in a crucial SSE Aitricity Premier Division clash.

Limerick lie second from bottom in the table on 13 points and are coming off the back of a loss to table toppers Cork City in the last game.

However, Tommy Barrett is optimistic of his sides chances against a quality St Pats team.

“They’ve very good players all over the pitch. They play good football so I think it will be a good game.”

“We’ve been working hard not to concede in those areas and hopefully we can continue to do that”

“It’s seriously disappointing from all of us. We’ve been unlucky in a couple of games. We haven’t been good enough in other games.”

“It makes a big difference when there is a good positive atmosphere and when there’s a good crowd.”
