Munster have today announced that centre Jaco Taute is to leave the Province at the end of the season to join Leicester Tigers.
The 28-year-old South African joined Munster in 2016 to provide cover for the injured Francis Saili before he signed a two year contract extension in 2017.
Taute notched eight tries during his time with the Province, notably two against his future club in the 38-0 drubbing over Leicester in December 2016.
He impressed for Munster in his first year but has suffered frequently with injuries since that have seen him fall down the pecking order.
Despite being knocked out of Europe at the weekend, Munster will begin the knockout phase of the Pro 14 in the coming weeks.
