Newly appointed Jimmy Lee has confirmed his Limerick Senior Football Management team for the upcoming season at a meeting of the Limerick Football Development Committee this evening.
John Brudair (Dromcollogher Broadford) Patrick Donnelly (Feenagh Kilmeedy), Stephen Kelly (Newcastle West) and Miceal Cahill (Mungret St Paul’s) will make up the backroom team.
Brudair has previous experience with the senior side, holding the manager position for three years until 2016. Kelly has been coach with Lee at Newcastle West in recent years where the duo helped their club to the munster final following back to back Limerick SFC successes in 2021 and ’22.
Kelly also represented Limerick for years where he played in four Munster finals as well as the counties only ever All-Ireland quarter final.
Donnelly was a key part of the Drom Broadford side that became the only team from the county to ever win a Munster club title. Cahill will act as the teams S&C coach.
They will now be put forward for ratification by the County Executive on Thursday 7th September and County Committee on Tuesday 12th September.
Lee and co will oversee Limerick in the third Division after they were relegated in April.
