Joey Carbery to miss 4-6 weeks as Haley cut from Irish Squad

After suffering an injury against Italy at the weekend, Joey Carbery will rehab his ankle injury with the national squad and is expected to be available for selection in 4-6 weeks.

In other injury news to emerge from the Irish Squad, Devin Toner’s ankle knock has not presented any further issues while Rob Herring who retired from the game early due to a back spasm has also fully recovered.

Finlay Bealham, John Cooney and Mike Haley have returned to their provincial bases. Munster’s Haley made his Irish debut at the weekend against Italy

Ireland’s next fixture is against England in Twickenham on Saturday 24th August.
