WATCH – John Kiely praises panel strength ahead of Tipperary clash

Limerick manager John Kiely was full of praise for his panel ahead of his side’s opening game in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship this weekend at the Gaelic Grounds.

Kiely said that everyone is fighting hard for a place in the starting lineup for the crunch game against Tipperary at the Ennis Road venue on Sunday at 2pm.

“It’s very competitive now at the moment,” admitted the Galbally clubman. “In our training games you can see that there is a real struggle going on and that’s a really healthy place for the group to be in.”

The Limerick manager also talks of the lessons that they have learned from a League campaign that saw them promoted to Division 1A and losing to this Sunday’s opponent’s in the league semi final in the video below.
