John Tuohy has been confirmed to continue in the Limerick Senior Camogie manger’s role for the 2018 season.
Last season the St Paul’s principal saw his side claim Limerick’s first ever senior Munster Championship title with a 1-13 to 0-14 over Cork in Charleville, as they avenged their league semi-final loss to the Leesiders.
The All-Ireland campaign was a disappointment as Limerick failed to make it out of the group stages but the provincial title win is evidence that Tuohy’s side are making steady progress.
Tuohy who joined up with the senior camogie side ahead of the 2016 season, is a former manager of both Limerick and Offaly minor hurling teams, while he also has plenty of domestic experience with his own club Patrickswell, Granagh-Ballingarry and Bruree, who he managed to win the county hurling championship in 2006.
It has also been confirmed that Ger Sheedy will take on both the Minor and Premier Junior teams.
