Joy Neville will add another notch to her already impressive refereeing belt in December.
Joy Neville will make another piece of history next month as she becomes the first female to ever officiate a European professional club fixture when Bordeaux-Bègles meet Enisei-STM in Round 4 of the Challenge Cup.
The Limerick native will go into the history books when the sides meet on Friday December 15 at Stade Chaban-Delmas in their pool 1 game.
The former Munster and Ireland international is one of 40 appointments announced today for rounds 3 and 4 in both the European Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup assembled by a selection committee chaired by Joel Jutge, EPCR’s head of match official’s.
