Former Limerick senior hurling strength and conditioning coach Mikey Kiely has taken a new role at Connacht Rugby following a season at fellow Irish side Ulster Rugby.
The Ballybrown man had huge success with Limerick, helping the side earn All-Ireland senior crowns in 2020 and 2021, as well as the 2017 U-21 All-Ireland before taking up a similar role at the Kingston Stadium.
Kiely has now left Ulster to take up the Head of Athletic Performance position at Connacht following the departure of David Howarth.
