Limerick GAA are set to appoint John Kiely as the county’s senior hurling manager for a second term.
Kiely’s three-year stint in the job ended when Limerick lost to Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi final in July.
Limerick county board secretary Mike O’Riordan circulated an email last night to all the club secretaries that informed them of a meeting tonight that has only one agenda. It read:
Please note the there will be a full County Board Meeting tomorrow evening at 8.00pm at the Woodlands House Hotel.
There will be one item on the Agenda.
Senior Hurling Mgt.
Mise le meas
Micheál Ó Riordáin
If Kiely is reappointed, he will be on the look out for a new S&C coach after Joe O’Connor recently left the set up.
Limerick are second favourites behind Tipperary to win the All-Ireland Hurling Championship in 2020.
