Limerick and Waterford refixed with doubts over quarter-finals

Limerick’s clash with Waterford in the National Hurling League has been refixed for March 7 in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 7pm.

That game was originally fixed for February 15 but fell foul of the weather after being moved to the Sunday before it was postponed indefinitely.

The refixture will shake up the whole competition with the quarter-finals originally fixed for the weekend of March 7/8.

There has been no confirmation of when the quarter-finals will be played or if they will be scraped.

This weekend Limerick face Westmeath in the Gaelic Grounds where a win will see them into the knockout stages ahead of the Waterford clash.

Limerick are defending League champions where they defeated the Déise in the final last Spring.
