Limerick Camogie Loss Confirmed After Game Review

Limerick Camogie manager Paul Sexton had thought his side earned a 1-7 to 0-10 draw against Tipperary at the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Sunday but following a review of the game by the camogie association, the game was now been corrected to a score of 1-6 to 0-10 meaning a one point win for Tipp.

Confusion reined at the final whistle as the referee confirmed a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-10 while many in attendance including media and scoreboard operator had it down as a 1-6 to 0-10 win for the visitors.

“We would like to thank all involved for their patience regarding this matter”.
