The last time either of the women’s teams were on the winning side was the Limerick derby on the 23rd of October.
The Limerick Celtics and Sport Eagles continued to put the pressure on Moy Tolka Rovers at the top of the Men’s Division One as they both put wins on the board yet again this weekend.
The Celtics were victorious over SETU Carlow with the score ending 91-82. They’ve continued to respond well from their round 6 defeat against the Sport Eagles with a second consecutive victory and now sit in third place on 18 points.
Also in Limerick, the Sport Eagles continued their fine form with another victory, this time over Scotts Lakers SPK with the Eagles hitting a century of points in their 102-84 victory.
