Limerick Celtics under 14 girls beat Brunell in the under 14 Division One Cup Final in a high intensity and fast paced Cup final in front of a large attendance last Saturday in the Parochial Hall Cork.
This was Celtics fifth cup win this season in the highly competitive Cork Division One Competitions this season after the Celtics boys had already won the Under 13 Cork Cup and under 14 Cork Cup and our under 16 boys had lost out by a single basket to Fr Mathews in overtime in the Under 16 Cork Cup final.
Add to this the Celtics under 18 girls beating Glanmire to take the under 18 Cup title and our under 12 girls coming from 4 points down against Mallow before coming back to win by 4 and the under 14 girls beating Brunell in another cracker on Saturday.
A super achievement by our Celtics players, coaches and managers who had won six North Munster Cup titles on the previous weekend.
Congratulations also to the Celtics under 12 and Under 13 boys teams on also winning the Cork Division One leagues last weekend.
