Limerick clubs learn fate in Munster Junior Cup Last 16 Draw

There are three Limerick sides remaining in the hunt for the Munster Junior cup including defending champions Fairview Rangers.

The draw for the Last 16 of the McCarthy’s Insurance Group Munster Junior Cup was made today with five Limerick District League sides remaining in the competition.

There is one District League derby with Charleville AFC drawn at home to Ballynanty Rovers. The defending champions Fairview Rangers will be on the road as they take on Waterford Crystal.

Regional United are at home to Villa while Avondale United host Nenagh.

Fixtures for the 5th Round are to take place on or before 19th February 2023.

The three Limerick sides also remain in the hunt for FAI Junior Cup honours as Fairview, Regional and Ballynanty all booked safe passage to the sixth round last week.

Last May, Fairview ended a 13-year wait for Munster Junior honours, avenging the defeat to Aisling Annacotty in 2019.
