Garryowen secured a second win after a 25-5 bonus point success over Ballynahinch at a wet Dooradoyle grounds. The result puts the ‘Light Blues’ up to sixth in Division 1A.
Meanwhile, their Limerick rivals Young Munster ended their three-game losing streak with hard-fought 9-9 draw to UCD at the Belfield Bowl.
In Division 1B, Shannon came away from their trip up North with nothing, after falling to a 14-34 defeat against Banbridge.
Old Crescent stay in fifth place of Division 2A the after suffering a 27-12 loss to MU Barnhall at home in Rosbrien, while UL Bohemian remain bottom of the table following their 24-21 defeat away to Ballymena.
In Division 2C, Bruff propelled themselves to second in the league table after securing a hard-fought 17-9 victory over Bangor at Kilballyowen Park.
