Janesboro moved a huge step closer to guaranteeing their Premier Division safety with a 0-2 win over Geraldines at the Garryowen Green on Sunday afternoon. Goals from Conor Madden and Jeffrey Dore provided Daithi O’Donoghue’s side with a huge victory which moves them well clear of the bottom three sides heading towards the last round of fixtures before the Christmas break.

Prospect Priory overtook Coonagh United into seventh place in the table following a dramatic 2-1 at Priory Park. Coonagh took an early lead as the benefitted from great pressure by Ger Myles at the edge of the area as Brion Moriarty capitalised to score. Trevor Hogan equalised for the home side and as it looked destined to end in a draw, Tyrique Leamy pulled a rabbit from the hat to score an injury time winner from all of 25 yards out.
