Limerick FC drawn away to Cobh Ramblers in the FAI Senior Cup

Limerick FC will travel to take on first division side Cobh Ramblers in the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup. The draw was made in Kilkenny this morning at the Springhill Court Hotel.

Limerick’s only defeat in their league title winning campaign came at Saint Colman’s Park last season, as they fell to a 2-0 loss with just four games remaining.

Ramblers are having a good season so far and currently sit second in the first division table.

Limerick exited the tournament in the third round last year at the hands of St Patrick’s Athletic.

See full fixture list below, these games are set to take place on the weekend of the 13th of August, and will be decided on the day with extra time and penalties to be played if needed.

Watch Brendan Storan scores the only goal of the 1982 FAI Cup final at Dalymount Park against Bohemians the last time Limerick won the competition.
