Limerick FC duo nominated for SSE Airtricity/SWAI September Player of the Month award

Limerick FC have two players nominated for the SSE Airtricity/SWAI September Player of the Month award.

Midfielder Bastien Hery, who has commanded the Limerick midfield as of late receives the much-deserved recognition, as does flying winger Chiedozie Ogbene.

Rory Hale gets his first nomination for the award following his move from Aston Villa, after his impressive form for Galway United.

David McMillan, Brandon Miele and Keith Ward are also rewarded for their impressive form during the month of September.

The six nominations for the SSE Airtricity/SWAI September Player of the Month award are:-Rory Hale

Bastien Hery (Limerick): The midfielder has had a standout month, turning in top class performances in two games against Cork as well as away to Bray.

Chiedozie Ogbene (Limerick): The former Cork City player earns his second nomination of the season earlier, the young winger was a threat all month on the wing for Limerick.

Rory Hale (Galway United): The midfielder earned a call-up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21s following some strong displays in the middle of the park as Galway edged to safety with two wins and a draw.

Keith Ward (Bohemians): Claimed a hat-trick away to Drogheda United.

David McMillan (Dundalk): The striker scored three times in the league as well as the opener in the EA Sports Cup final and quarter final of Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup.

Brandon Miele (Shamrock Rovers): Netted a super strike against Cork City, followed by another against Finn Harps as well as a hat-trick in the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup quarter final with non-league Bluebell United.
