Limerick FC friendly announcement

Limerick FC will officially begin their 2018 season with a pre-season match against first division side Galway United this coming Saturday January 21st at the University of Limerick (kick-off 6.30pm). It will be new manager Tommy Barrett’s first chance to see the players at his disposal although he will be aware of many due to his time as manager of the under 19’s team.

Limerick head into the game with just 14 recognised senior players signed. The signed players are; Shane Duggan, Brendan Clarke, Freddy Hall, Barry Cotter, Tony Whitehead, Shane Tracy, Cian Coleman, Chiedozie Ogbene, Daniel Kearns, Danny Morrissey, Henry Cameron, Killian Brouder and William Fitzgerald. There are a number of tralists currently training with the club who will be expected to feature on Saturday.

The club are expected to announce more pre-season matches shortly with the season just five weeks away from its beginning away to Sligo Rovers on Saturday February 16th.
