Limerick FC launch official home jersey for the 2018 Airtricity League season

Limerick FC unveiled the club’s official home jersey for the 2018 Airtricity League campaign on Friday morning. The blue and white short sleeved jersey was modelled by new signings Daniel Kearns and Eoin Wearen along with captain Shane Duggan at the launch. The reaction to the jersey has been positive on both Limerick FC’s Facebook and Twitter pages this afternoon. Umbro designed the kit and BETSAT.com are the official sponsor on the jersey for the season. The jersey will go on sale on the club’s online shop from Saturday morning and will be delivered next week in time for the first game of the season.

Up until now, Limerick have been wearing an alternate kit during their pre-season matches against Galway, Cobh and Shelbourne. New signing Killian Cantwell also wore the new jersey during his opening interview with the club.

In other news, Limerick FC will play their final pre-season game on Saturday afternoon as they travel to play Longford Town at the City Calling Stadium with a 2.30 pm kick-off. Tommy Barrett will be looking for an energetic display from his side as it is the final chance for all players to impress the new manager before the opening league game at the Showgrounds on Saturday week. Furthermore, it is vital that injuries are avoided so close to the big kick-off.
