Limerick FC’s weekend fixture postponed due to Rovers Europa League involvement

Limerick FC’s SSE Airtricity Premier League clash this weekend has been postponed until a future date due to Shamrock Rovers progression in the Europa League qualifying stages.

Originally fixed for this Saturday in the Markets Field at 7.45, Limericks next league game will be against lowly Sligo Rovers at home on July 22nd.

Limerick’s disappointing 3-1 defeat to Galway last weekend has seen them fall four points behind 5th placed Derry has dampened Limericks European hopes.

Limerick have a fixture to look forward to tonight however as they host Charlton Athletic in a mid season friendly. Kick off in the Markets Field is at 7.45pm.
