Limerick football semi-finals in focus this weekend | Football Fixtures

The semi-finals of the Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior and Junior A championships take place this weekend.

This weekend will see the penultimate rounds of the Limerick Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior and Junior A football championships, with semi-finals being played across the top four tiers.

Fr Casey’s clash with Adare in the first of the Senior semi-finals in Newcastle West on Saturday, Adare having won all five of their group games. Casey’s put up 3-15 against Na Piarsaigh in the quarter to earn their place in the semi-finals.

Adare come into the game as the bookies favourites, priced at 8/11, while Casey’s can be got at 6/4.

Monaleen are set to meet Newcastle West in the other Senior semi, having picked up a two-point win over Kildimo Pallaskenry in the previous round. The tie is fixed for Sunday in Kilmallock.

Elsewhere, in the Intermediate championship, Dromcollogher Broadford face off with St Senan’s over the weekend for a final spot, while Rathkeale come up against Mungret St Paul’s.

Cappagh will face Newcastle West in the Premier Junior semi-final, while Croom and Feenagh Kilmeedy will also do battle on Sunday.
