Limerick hurler named Golfer of the year at Castletroy club

Multitalented Limerick hurler Gearoid Hegarty has named as Golfer of the Year at Castletroy Golf Club

Hegarty made his intercounty hurling debut in 2016 and has gone on to win an All-Ireland medal, as well as a League and Munster title.

He previously lined out for the senior footballers for a period before focusing solely on the hurlers.
