Twelve fighters from the Learning Hub Limerick Kickboxing club took part at the recent MidWestVTheRest2 event held in the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The fighters competed across various disciplines with light contact kickboxing, full contact kickboxing, boxing and K1. The main event of the evening was Hayleigh Kiely V Lauren Wilson for the vacant IKF 5 Nations Kickboxing title.
This was a high tempo bout with both fighters showcasing some top skills. Lauren Wilson from Northern Ireland Fight club was a tough opponent and came to fight.
However, Kiely continued here unbelievable run of achievements and took home the IKF 5 Nations title. The win marks what has been amazing six months for the girl who fights out of the Learning Hub Limerick Kickboxing club as she.
Kiely has won the IKF Junior -65kg kickboxing title, +65kg kickboxing title, National Senior K1 title as well as a sliver medal in the WKU world championships.
