Limerick ladies downed in opening league game of 2025

Limerick’s began life in Division 3 of the Lidl Ladies Gaelic Football National League with a 0-14 to 2-6 loss to Down in Mungret this afternoon.

The home side held a 1-3 to 0-3 advantage at half time with Rebecca Delee’s goal proving the difference in the opening half.

However, Down bossed the third quarter of the game – scoring 10 points without reply to hold a seven-point advantage.
