Limerick Ladies Football Manager Donal Ryan names 2020 squad

New Limerick Ladies Football Manager Donal Ryan has named his first squad for 2020.

There are 34 players selected with 13 clubs represented overall.

County champions St Ailbe’s have four players selected but Drom-Broadford and Murroe-Boher lead the way with five players each.

Limerick kick off their league campaign on January 26 with a trip to Carlow.

Limerick#s first home game of 2020 sees them welcome Derry the following week.

There are a number of notable absentees from the panel with the only six survivors from the starting team in Limerick’s final championship game in 2019.

Those are Rebecca McGuinness, Rebekah Daly, Cliodhna Ní Cheallaigh, Katie Heelan, Roisin Ambrose and Iris Kenneally.
