Limerick manager Billy Lee presented with signed jersey in honour of his late mother

Earlier this month, Mary Lee, a stalwart of Newcastle West GAA passed away.

She was mother of current Limerick senior football manager Billy, minor manger Joe and grandmother to current senior footballer Jamie.

After Limerick were defeated by Westmeath on Saturday in the All-Ireland Qualifiers, signaling an end to their season, the Limerick panel and management gifted Billy Lee with a signed jersey in honour of his late mother.

Lee then took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the gift.

Lee has just finished his third year in charge of the side after originally agreeing a three year stint.

After making much progress this year it is unknown will Lee extend his term with a new crop of players integrated into the set up in his time in charge.
