Limerick Senior, Intermediate and Junior Football Championship Third Round Fixtures Confirmed

Newcastle West, Kildimo Pallaskenry and Adare will aim to maintain their 100% record as they take on Claughaun, St Kierans and Galtee Gaels respectively.

The Limerick Football Championships return for the third round this weekend across the top four tiers beginning on Thursday with a game in each grade.

In the SFC, in group one, Newcastle West and Kildimo Pallaskenry will aim to maintain their 100% record as they take on Claughaun and St Kieran’s respectively. Oola and Fr Caseys meet in the other tie.

In group two, table toppers Adare meet Galtee Gaels in a repeat of the 2021 semi-final. City rivals Monaleen face Na Piarsaigh while Ballylanders take on Ballysteen.

There are a number of intriguing ties in the Intermediate championship also with perennial contenders Gerald Griffins taking on last year’s finalists while Rathkeale and Mungret St Pauls meet.
