Limerick to learn championship opponents next Monday

The draws for the 2021 Munster Senior Football and Hurling Championships will take place on Monday April 19.

Billy Lee’s footballers and John Kiely’s hurlers will discover their championship opponents with both draws taking place RTÉ Radio 1’s Morning Ireland show on Monday, April 19.

The draw for the football will take place at 7.30am with the hurling an hour later.

The hurling is an open draw as it was in 2020 with one quarter-final and three teams receiving a bye into the semi-finals.

Limerick will be looking for three in a row with Tipperary in 1989 the last side to achieve that feat in Munster.

Unlike the hurling, the football will be straight knockout..
