Limerick’s 2020 Munster Championship pathway revealed

Limerick will kick start their 2020 Munster Senior Hurling Championship campaign next season away to Cork.

The defending Munster champions will entertain Waterford and All-Ireland Champions Tipperary at LIT Gaelic Grounds and will make the trip to Cork and Clare.

Across five weeks, John Kiely’s men will play two weeks in a row, followed by a one week rest and finish with two more successive games.

Similar to last years format, the top two teams will play in the Munster final, with the third-placed team entering into the All-Ireland series.

It’s understood that the dates and times are likely to be confirmed by the Munster Council in November.
