Limerick’s Jamie Morrissey to headline Muay Thai fight night ‘Unforgiven III’ in Strand Hotel

On Sunday August 4, Limerick ISKA Pro Irish Middlewight champion Jamie Morrissey will defend his title against Dublin fighter Alex Akimov.

This will serve as the main event of the night called Unforgiven III which will be held in the Strand Hotel on the Ennis Road.

EireMuaySiam Thai Boxing gym Limerick are hosting the event with several fights on the undercard.

Speaking in the wake of his 75kg ISKA Irish title win, Morrissey who fights with the EireMuaySiam Gym, spoke about his love of Limerick.

“First ever Limerick ISKA Champion. That’s probably the proudest thing for me, bringing it back to Limerick. I love my city from the bottom of my heart. From character even to layout, I love my city to bits.”

The first fight on the night commences at 4.30 with tickets on sale for just €30.
