Limerick’s league quarter final with Laois fixed for this weekend

Limerick will travel to Laois this weekend in a bid to make the Allianz Hurling League semi finals for the fourth year running after the GAA confirmed the fixture this afternoon.

There was doubt as to when the fixtures would take place due to other games falling foul of the weather yesterday, but John Kiely’s charges will play Laois in Portlaoise this coming Saturday at 7pm. The game will be live on TG4.

It is the only knockout game that is fixed for this weekend. The other fixtures that were postponed yesterday have been refixed for this coming Sunday.

The other quarter finals will now take place on the St Patrick’s Bank Holiday weekend, while the semi finals fixed for the following week.

The 2019 Allianz Hurling League Final will now take place on the same weekend as the football finals on March 31st.
