Limerick’s record breaking hurlers to be welcomed home at TUS Gaelic Grounds on Monday

Limerick City and County Council in association with Limerick GAA will hold a free family-friendly party for the All-Ireland champions tonight.

The victorious Limerick team will be welcomed to the TUS Gaelic Grounds tonight in a special family-friendly homecoming for the three-in-a-row All-Ireland champions.

However, it will be the first homecoming for the side since 2018, with similar events in 2020 and last year ruled out due to the pandemic.

John Kiely’s men had to dig deep in Croke Park but found the goods to three-peat, becoming only the fourth county to do so.

And after missing out on the chance to celebrate in front of their home fans over the first two legs of the three-peat, tonight they will receive the ovation they truly deserve.

The TUS Gaelic Grounds will host the event, which is free but is ticket only.

Tickets can be got on Ticketmaster.ie, but will have €2 booking fee per ticket.
