LISTEN: Antóin Power happy with second win “We hurled right from the start to the finish.”

The Limerick minor hurlers put on an impressive display against Cork on Saturday evening to secure a second consecutive victory in the Munster Minor Hurling championship. Following the same structure as the senior championship, Limerick are in pole position to qualify for the Munster final.

Manager Antoin Power was hugely impressed with the nature of hs sides performance in Pairc Ui Chaoimh highlighting the impact of the squad as a whole. He is not getting ahead of himself however, with nothing secure yet.

“We hurled right from the start to the finish and to be fair it was a real squad performance. The subs that came on added to the team as well so delighted with the performance.”

“But at the end of the day it’s only round 2. We’ll recover tomorrow and prepare for Waterford next week.”
